What is a sommier?
A sommier is a type of bed that features a storage structure built into its base.
Using shock absorbers, the base of the sommier can be raised - in a similar way to lifting the hood of a car to access the engine - and the entire internal space of its structure can be used for storage.
If you like to have everything tidy and organized, a sommier with storage is perfect for you! You can store rugs, towels, bedding and others accessories that you want to have easy reach, but not in sight. This storage base will keep your objects away from dust, and, at the same time, enhance the current and modern design of your room.

How to choose the size of the sommier?
The size of the chosen sommier must respect the size of the mattress, and vice versa. With sizes available for all types of mattresses - ranging from single to king-size - our Sommier with Tidy storage is available in 9 different sizes:
- Single 90 x 190 cm
- Single 90 x 200 cm
- Double 140 x 190 cm
- Double 140 x 200 cm
- Double 150 x 190 cm
- Double 150 x 200 cm
- Double 160 x 200 cm
- King 180 x 200 cm
- King 200 x 200 cm
This way, size will not be an impediment. You can choose a double, single or king sommier. Regardless of your choice, comfort will always be guaranteed!
Can I choose the fabric for my sommier?
Yes, in addition to the wide variety of sizes we offer, you can also choose the fabric of your sommier so that it is entirely adapted to your taste and your room.
Our sommier with storage is available in Savana or Polipele fabric, and in 6 types of tones.
Does the sommier adapt to all types of mattress?
Our sommier is recommended for all types of mattress, in addition to allowing it to last longer.
How does the assembly work?
Assembling the Sommier Tidy is a relatively simple process! Follow the instructions of this manual or watch this video, and enjoy this new piece of yours that will help you rest better. If you prefer, you can also request our assembly service when the item is delivered to your home.

Can I use a sommier with a headboard?
As with most sommiers on the market, our sommier does not include headboard, which needs to be purchased separately.

What should/should I not keep in my sommier?
The Colmol sommier can be used to store bedding, cushions, clothing and other textiles. Suitcases or footwear should not be stored, as these are items prone to the accumulation of moisture which could damage the base of the sommier.

How to clean the sommier?
Sommiers are super simple to clean! Even so, similar to what happens with the mattress cleaning, you should avoid using homemade recipes such as baking soda or vinegar.
To clean the sommier, it must first be vacuumed to remove dust and impurities that may have accumulated. Then, with a damp microfiber cloth free of any product, the base area should be gently rubbed in circular movements.
